With summer here, now it’s a perfect time to get out for a pre-wedding or engagement photo session in our beautiful Copenhagen. These long and bright evenings of summer in Denmark give us the perfect opportunity to spend some time outdoors with our favourite people. 

Are you getting married in Copenhagen?
If you are getting married soon and are considering doing a pre-wedding photo shoot, I say, go for it! In addition to being able to use your engagement photos in your save the date cards and wedding invitations, this can also be a great opportunity to get to know your wedding photographer before the big day. This way you’ll be able to figure out if he or she is the right fit for you.  

How did this engagement shoot in Copenhagen go? 
I took this lovely couple to a few of my favourite spots in the city for their engagement photo session and for about two hours we explored the evening away. 
We started our photo shoot at Magstœde, one of the oldest, colourful and most beautiful streets in Copenhagen. Then we walked along Frederiksholms Kanal, crossed Christiansborg Castle and arrived at a hidden gem in the middle of the city: the Royal Library Garden. The light at the garden at 8p.m. was absolutely stunning. We’re able to get some great shots there. 
Finally we walked to our final destination, Nyhavn. To get there we walked through Havnegade and stopped at the sidewalk trampolines down the promenade and after jumping up and down for a while we reached Nyhavn, a beautiful harbour with old sailing ships and colourful facades. Nyhavn was the perfect place to finish this engagement photo shoot.
