This was my first Frederiksberg Town Hall wedding of 2022. It took place on the 22.02.2022, on a Twoesday! This lovely couple came from Germany to get married in Denmark, as do many other couples of different nationalities living in the EU. We met at Frederiksberg Town Hall ten minutes before their wedding ceremony and some friends and family accompanied them to celebrate this special day. After the quick ceremony, we headed out to enjoy the sunshine and make a toast to the happy couple.
Close to Frederiksberg City Hall, there is a very beautiful park called Frederiksberg Have. As it had rained a lot in the previous days, we didn’t dare try to explore the park for a wedding photo shoot. In an attempt to avoid ruining the bride’s dress (which was her mom’s btw) and shoes with all the mud, we took a taxi and went downtown, so that they could have wedding photos with Copenhagen as a backdrop.
The full coverage of this small wedding was two hours, starting with the wedding at Frederiksberg Town Hall and ending with a wedding photo shoot in Copenhagen. Taking into account the travel time between Frederiksberg Town Hall and central Copenhagen and the low temperatures at this time of year in Denmark, two hours of wedding coverage was a good choice. You have enough time for wedding portraits, but not so much time that you freeze in the cold.
