Back in June I photographed this Civil Wedding at ByOasen in Copenhagen. Chloé and Robert, like many other couples in 2020, had to change their wedding plans due to COVID. They had planned a big wedding back home with about 200 guests, but when the pandemic struck, they had to adjust and decided that an Elopement in Copenhagen was the way to go. With a new wedding location and new wedding date came a new Wedding Photographer: me, Natalia Cury! My lucky day when they chose me as their Wedding Photographer in Copenhagen!

Most Civil Weddings here take place at Copenhagen City Hall, but during the summer, the Copenhagen Municipality holds outdoor weddings for those who wish a slightly more untraditional and fun location. Their Civil Wedding took place inside a greenhouse at ByOasen, in Nørrebro. What an adorable setting for this laid-back couple who just wanted to spend this special day together and have fun.

Two months later when they received their paper prints, Chloé sent me an e-mail: “Just to let you know we have received the prints! They’re amazing! We’re so glad we had you to photograph our day! Our wedding has now been postponed to next year! But luckily we have these beauties to look at!”
